Nick Bourne Director and Marketing Manager (London)

Nick Bourne graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1996 with a degree in Politics and Philosophy. Before joining Lombard Street Research he took his first job at BankStat, a division of Institutional Investor. He joined Lombard Street Research in 1998 as a member of the newly formed marketing team, increasing client base and turnover by over a third within 4 years. Nick worked for a brief spell at our New York office in 1999 and moved back to the UK in 2000 where he took up his role as Marketing Manager. He was invited to join the board of directors in February 2005. Nick is a music enthusiast and an avid supporter of Ipswich Town football club.

 

Phil Lightfoot Director and Head of US Office (New York)

Phil Lightfoot graduated in economics from the University of Manchester in 1997. His first job was working for IIR conferences in London. He then joined Lombard Street Research in 2000. In April 2003 Phil moved to New York, as VP Sales & Marketing, to set up our US marketing office and is now managing and building a successful sales team. Phil enjoys scuba diving, snowboarding, windsurfing and golf.

 

Edward Stockreisser Director, Lombard Street Research (Asia) Ltd

Edward Stockreisser has been developing our business throughout Asia since he joined Lombard Street Research in early 2005 and is now in charge of setting up our new operation in Hong Kong commencing March 2008. After 2 years working in our London office, he joined our operation in New York as Vice President, Sales and Marketing, and gained valuable experience of our North American clients and marketplace. Prior to joining Lombard Street Research Edward spent 6 years in financial services with Euromoney plc and BMI in London. He was born in Switzerland, is a native French speaker and has a degree in International Relations from Nottingham University. He is a keen skier and enjoys playing squash.

Catherine Joyce Head of Sales (London) & Director, Lombard Street Associates

Catherine started working for Lombard Street Research's New York office in January 2003, responsible for developing new business and managing existing clients in North and South America. In July 2007, she moved back to London and is now responsible for clients in the UK, Switzerland and Ireland. She is also a Director of Lombard Street Associates working with a network of specialist consultants dealing with project based requests from around the world. Catherine graduated with a BA (Hons) in French Studies from Portsmouth University, England. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and has visited some unusal places including Antarctica, Mongolia, Russia, Australia and India.

Mack Konishi Managing Director, Japan Business Development (London)

Mack joined Lombard Street Research in March 2008. He started his business career in London after 17 years in education in Japan. He worked at Nikko Securities as a European equity broker and later joined GNI as a senior marketing manager. He was involved with financial derivatives markets, primarily servicing Japanese institutions. He left GNI in 2002 to start his own consultancy company to advise wealthy individuals on asset preservation. He has his own column in an investment periodical 'Futures Japan' and often provides market comment to the Japanese media.

Steve Austin Account Manager (London)

Steve Austin joined Lombard Street Research in January 2007 as a Sales Executive with responsibility for developing the company's profile in the BeNeLux region. Steve was previously at Standard & Poor's where he spent three years with the sales team. He has gained extensive experience in financial services sales, particularly within the credit markets. He is an avid supporter of Tottenham Hotspur.

Miguel Brito Account Manager (London)

Miguel joined Lombard Street Research as an Account Manager in July 2007, and is responsible for clients in Australasia, the Mediterranean and Scotland. Prior to joining us, he worked in financial publishing sales at Euromoney Institutional Investor and Informa Plc, on the Global Investor and Insurance Day titles. Miguel studied International Relations at Nottingham Trent and has also gained an MA in International Relations from the University of Wales. He is a music enthusiast and also enjoys martial arts in his spare time.

 

Anjali Menon Business Development Manager (London)

Anjali Menon has been working in financial markets on both sides of the Atlantic since 1994. She spent four years in Canada with Merrill Lynch (investment advisor) and Bank of Montreal (asset management) and moved to London in 1999, since when she has worked for the inter-dealer brokers PVM Oil Futures and for Tradition (UK) in credit derivatives sales. She also worked as Associate Publisher with Euromoney Institutional Investor before joining Lombard Street Research in 2007. Anjali went to school in India and completed her studies in England. She has a BA in Politics, Economics and Law from the University of Buckingham and enjoys literature, cinema and politics.

 

Mike Payne Business Development Manager (New York)

Prior to joining Lombard Street Research’s New York office in June 2006, Mike worked in sales for Cantor Fitzgerald's fixed income department. After two years of helping to build Lombard Street’s client base and North American visibility, he moved to our London headquarters in June 2008. Mike will be continuing his role as Business Development Manager.

 

Jim Ayers Business Development Manager (New York)

Jim Ayers graduated in 2003 from the University of Florida with a degree in finance. He spent three years in Wall Street at Chicago Investment Group, a boutique investment bank where he worked in Private Client Services. In January 2008 he joined Lombard Street Research in New York as Business Development Manager and now concentrates on the northeast, California and southeast regions. In his spare time he enjoys surfing, snowboarding and participating in NYC sport leagues.
