Head of Macroeconomic Research
Diana joined Lombard Street Research in 2000 and became a director of the company in 2005. Over the years her work as an economist has covered a wide range of developing and developed economies, with a special focus on China. In 2013 she returned to the London office to become LSR's Head of Macroeconomic Research. In 2010 she moved to LSR's Hong Kong office to develop further the firm's expansion on mainland China and the rest of Asia. Between 2005 and 2009 she was the Head of LSR's UK Service, leading a team of economists covering the UK economy. Her current work covers global issues, with a focus on China and the US.

Diana has published two books, co-authored with Charles Dumas. In 2011 came “The American Phoenix and why China and Europe will struggle after the coming slump” warning of another global downturn in 2012 and explaining who will come out worst and why. In 2006 "The Bill from the China Shop" was published, on the dangers of the Asian savings glut and what it means for the world economy.

Diana's research has been extensively quoted and she gives regular TV and radio interviews. She graduated with a Master's degree in Economics at the University of Warwick.
